Tributech has changed to a privately held company and will be growing in 2010! This means this site will probably get a new breath of life put into it, so expect some changes and some useful information at last.

Tributech has been accepted as an Atlassian Partner. I’ll be changing this site up fairly heavily over the next month due to this welcome news.

I was lucky enough to receive a free copy of Stewart Mader’s new book, Wikipatterns. The book goes hand in hand with the website http://www.wikipatterns.com.

Stewart is Atlassian’s Wiki evangelist, I was lucky to meet him back in July ‘07 at his presentation - How do you grow wiki adoption?
I’ll be posting a review of this book when I get through it. It’s not large, but I’ve currently got 5 books on the go at once.

Just a reminder that the NCG is tonight 6pm @ Forsythes IT Training Room.
This month Yi Su will be talking to us about the Spring framework. Having originated in Java the Spring and Spring.NET framework is an open source application framework that makes building enterprise applications easier. Providing components based on proven design patterns that can be integrated into all tiers of your application architecture, Spring helps increase development productivity and improve application quality and performance.
Yi Su works for Fujitsu Australia. He has over 15 years of software development experience on various platforms, technologies, and in different domains. He has given numerous presentations in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and UML Modelling in different training programs. His previous talk on Hibernate was exceptional!

From CITCON Mailing ListRegistration is now open for CITCON Melbourne 2008 on June 27 & 28 (one week later than originally planned).
http://citconf.com/melbourne2008/register.php
Last year, the Asia-Pacific CITCON instance broke the record for most registrants and participants. Denver is trying hard to beat that record. Let’s make CITCON Asia-Pacific 2008 even bigger. Help get the word out about CITCON. Tell your friends. Blog about it. Post it on the bulletin board at your local grocery store!
CITCON is still free! It’s still the best place in the world to learn about and discuss all things Agile automation and testing.
Wanna be a part of it. Volunteer!

Thanks and see you in Melbourne.
